Cycle time is the name of the game. The quicker you get cars out of the shop, the more money they make. The problem is that many stores game the system by moving zone cones or scanning vehicles to incorrect zones to stop the clock.

AND, when the customer decides to trade in their appraisal, the sales consultants LOSE THE $50!!! The consultants actually have to do more work securing the trade in but don't get the $50 for the trade.

Carmax considers it part of the sale!! Total nonsense.
