Dec 23, 2010 - I test drove and decided to buy a 2009 Ford Focus. The sales person took me to one of the small offices where they do a credit check for financing. Their interest rate was very high though my credit is excellent. I opted to pay cash. After I'd cut them...

For the record, during the 125 point inspection the oil is changed before the car hits the front lot.

In fact, if you would have looked in the glove box their was a checklist for the inspection and what was done to the vehicle and the technician has to sign off on it, thus putting his butt on the line if it didn't get done.

CArMax does things differently, they do the things before you demand it like you have to at traditional dealerships. Unfortunately before you typed this here you didn't understand properly what CarMax does to each vehicle before they sell it to you. That is actually the fault of the sales consultant for not explaining that to you. Congratulations on a great car from CarMax!

I am going through the same thing here in Colorado Springs and searching for an attorney. What type of attorney did you obtain, business law, etc?

I also have contacted the CO Dept of Revenue and they have agreed to investigate. CO law says a title must be provided within 30 days.
