$149 processing fee is a deal compared to other dealers most around here are 499 to 650 and it is nothing more than hidden profit.
Okay, being a biz man turned auto-sales mgr I can tell you "your car is a Depreciating asset" & the car companies work with the banks to ***! That's right!
Say you buy an your approved for a 3.9% apr for 66 and salesman comes out and says "congrats you are approved for a 5.9% apr for 66" . Now, don't be pissed at your salesman, he is not the *** here. Just the greedy "community pillar-dealer & the bankers in Manhattan counting profit at your expense! You think 2 pt?
Big deal and you fight and heckle over price and get best deal. Well bend over Bc your getting f-d! Take your typ 2-4pt apr% add-on say on a $20k purchase = $40-80 month. Almost $5k in applied apr!!
That $ is split between dealer & bank! Biggest scam thanks Uncle Sam
Correction , iT was the Airbag light that came onand remans on since visiting Oak Lawn store for repair.
This person must be a shill who works for carmax. They monitor this board and add posts.
Their cars are all priced several thousand above competition.
And the price is a lie.
They take 200 off advertised price and add it back as a fake "service" fee. The fake fee is a cost of doing business, nothing extra, so its part of the price.?
Carmax appraisal process?
you should have taken the car to the land rover dealership, then you could really see what the meaning of overpriced is. and if you want cheap service and parts then buy a *** honda dude

I brought a 2010 Jaguar from the carmax in Fayetteville NC. Within 1 week the transmission lights were on and the steering wheel made noises.
I took the car back only for them to say they fixed the steering wheel and to keep the car for 2weeks. A month later the same noises presented and now the dashboard was buckling. I took the car to the jaguar place where they told me I no longer had a factory warranty when. I was told that I did by the carmax employee.
The dash was going to be about 4800 but I cld use my extended warranty that I brought for the steering wheel. Icalled carmax bck and told them what the jaguar dealership said and they wanted me to bring it back to them since they originally worked on it. When I got there once again they said nothing was wrong. I called jaguar and put them on speaker phone so they could give them the diagnosis.
Then carmax decided they would allow jaguar to replace the steering column. But instead of putting my car on a lift they drove it there and drove it back 8 days later. I've had my car going on 90 days and 21 days of it the car was in the shop.
Not to mention they won't fix the dashboard. Never again will they get my business and I will not refer anyone to them.
Thats what you get for buying a Jaguar......
