Worst car buying experience EVER! I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to give them something to write a review. Only reason I went there is they had a car I wanted; what could go wrong, right? They say they stand behind their cars, yet they told me, after...

Carmax review: 2013 Chevrolet Cruze Car Review from Naperville, Illinois

I brought a 2013 chevy cruze with 10,000 to 15,000 miles in March 2016. Here it is August 2016 this car has been to 2 different car dealership under the dealership warranty for the same issue. First the radio screen and sound would go off they update the radio not two days later the power steering light blinked the car *** then died. They side the negative Cable on the battery needed to be changed. That didn't help because it didn't it again but the car wouldn't start, so I brought a new battery thinking it was the battery but to no resolve it did it again while I was driving the service power steering light blinking the car *** and died while I was driving this is very dangerous and I feel like this car is a death trap.

Worst company to ever get a car from I've had nothing but issues with the one I got from them about a week ago. It's been in the shop 3 times and is still *** up. I'll never shop with them again. And I've never had a manager get smart with me for selling me something *** up.

I bought a Nissan Versa, with only 45k miles on it, and a "clean" report. within 12 months of owning the vehicle, I have spent more than $2,500 in repairs, and there will be more to come. This is after purchasing MAXCARE, an all but useless warranty service. Eight...

I was considering selling my car, and had taken it to two different dealers to get an idea of what it was selling for, and they were both pretty close and in line with what kbb.com and the nada guides were quoting. Someone suggested that I go to the new CarMax that...

I agree, low trade-in - high sales price. Better off at a dealer. Bill

Totall RIP OFF on trade in values, they will tell you there are problems with your car when there aren't, I worked at a car dealership for 23 years, thought I would see what they would give me for a trade in, they made up all these things that were wrong with my car, I...

I totally agree with you. These people are thieves.

The try to rub you anyway they can. They told me new car like they sold me costs 27000 when in reality it is only 19500. They lowball their customers like you. They told my sister the car has problem with transmission and gave her 1500 instead of 2500.

They rubbed me of 3000- or 4000. They sell wrecks. Their 125 point inspection simply doesn't exist. They sold me the car without wind shield water.

That means they never even opened the hood.

Jacob Janowski the operations manager at Naperville, IL is a very deceitful person allowing cars that are unsafe or previously wrecked to be sold. He makes the technicians and body shop patch these cars up and hide the damage. Carmax keep changing their standards and...

This is one awesome post! That's the carmax way of letting the customer return with the vehicle for repairs.

Think about it, why should carmax fix the repairs when the customer can!! People need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Carmax sold a damaged vehicle

I bought a used 2010 Chrysler town and country from Carmax in Schaumburg Illinois in November of 2011. It was a fleet vehicle. During the next 6 months I noticed a line of rust forming on the sliding door. It corroded quickly. I just had to have the entire door replaced because the body shop opened it up to repair it and found that the support beam was bent and the door had been filled with plastic. Clearly this vehicle was hit and damaged severely enough to have a beam bent. I feel that this is something to tell the buyer when selling a vehicle. Fraudulent?
