Ok, seen reviews before i went there; many awafully bad, but i need to sell my truck so i can move. Well, went to the new location in Colorado Springs, everyone cool and all that ***. Till i came back from smoking.

These people have the nerve to tell me that a 42255 mile S10 2003, never crashed clean tittle, excelent mechanical condition, 2.2L, with 20" rims, and iPod connection has the value of 1700... WTF?!, im not a crackhead.

And when i tried to get the "manager" to see the odometer, he just woulnt let me talk, and told me that if they buy my truck, they will put it for auction not the lot, hoping for someone to take it for the same 1700, right, and apparently i had a sign that said sucker. And this is the kicker, the test driver?, that dude need to get another profession because he seemed so confident on describing the aftermaket parts on my truck, he dont know a stock shifter from a short shifter, and on their words "aftermaket stuff dont matter...", right Sherlock. Since when, someone tell me, lowering a truck compromises the integrity of the vehicle? so apparently theres an infinite amount of suspension companies that want to get sued... I would feel so much better if i could just punch that dude square on the face, how can you sleep at night being a lier of that level.

I know if i sold my truck, and while i was buying drugs [maybe i look like a junky] they would get all OEM parts install them in about 3-4 days and have a 10000 dollar truck, my truck as it is by KBB is 8600 and i noticed that most of the cars are "below" KBB but thats because of so many suckers that keep going to this company. Regular dealerships are better, some haggle and pressure wont kill you.

Bottom line, if you want to lose money big time selling your car, Carmax is the way to go, they will square you away.

Monetary Loss: $6900.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Modifications of any vehicle will negatively impact the value. You are better off putting it on ebay

How does lowering a car not compromise the vehicle(bumps scrapes, potholes) all could damage the truck alot easier? Carmax is known for there great service i would trust them over any dealer anytime, unfortunatly i cant afford their prices i would rather buy from a privite party or some shady as* dealership and get a cheaper car that has a few mechanicle problems.

However if i wasnt budgeted i would definitely go to carmax. "Guess Who" is right your customs werent in the car to begin with, which means they arent things everyone wants like a *** cupholder for instance. Everyone wants a cupholder thats why they come standard in every car. Not everyone wants a lowered s10 that will scrape up there driveway.

So you just cut their target buyer in half. Carmax refuses to sell cars with customs done to them because of the pure fact that no one knows for sure who did it or if they were qualified.

Well, you MUST be a crackhead if you think that car dealers aren't going to lowball you! AND if you think they give a rats *** about the aftermarket parts!

Aftermarket parts are only cool to you and your crackhead buddies....they don't increase your cars value. What are you like 12??
