Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I have received from Carmax and the quality of the vehicle I purchased from your dealership. As a loyal customer, I expected a level of professionalism and reliability that, unfortunately, has been sorely lacking in my experience.
I purchased a vehicle from Carmax less than a year ago, hoping for a reliable mode of transportation.

However, since then, I have encountered numerous issues with the vehicle that have significantly impacted its performance and my overall satisfaction. These issues include The auxiliary battery needing replacement, weve replaced a battery 4 times, the bios needing a reset, a locked air conditioning vent in the back, The doors not locking, and transmission slipping.
Despite bringing these issues to the attention of your dealership's service department on multiple occasions, the problems persist, and I am left feeling frustrated and disillusioned. Not only has the vehicle failed to meet my expectations in terms of reliability and quality, but the level of customer service I have received has also been unsatisfactory.
As a consumer, I believe it is essential to hold companies accountable for their products and services. I am disappointed that Carmax has not lived up to its reputation for excellence in this instance.

I had hoped to have a positive experience with your company, but unfortunately, that has not been the case.
I urge you to take immediate action to address the issues with the vehicle and improve the quality of service provided to customers.

As a loyal customer, I expect nothing less than prompt and effective resolution to these issues.
I would appreciate a response from your corporate office regarding this matter and a plan for how Carmax intends to rectify the situation. Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

They set auto purchase rate without bordering and the Blue book value was lower than their set price. I asked about the undercarriage for a spare tire and was told it was under the back hatchback and I had tools for changing tire. I drove home and R front tire was flat 1 hour drive home. Got the manual, did not have tools to change a tire, followed fir no spare & no carraige. Called had me tow to repair for tire change that they reimbursed cost of tire. Each time called spoke with a Deidra whom was not customer focused.
On 4/3/24, called CarMax repair per txt reminder for brake replacement front only. First, Deidra told me there was no appointment for me, I asked if I did not have an appt that was confirmed by her 3 weeks previously. She told me things mess up on the computer allthe time. Asked finally for info phone number that I gave her making the appt and email could not find but somehow I gave my Mothers hm number and it was under her phone with my name. Phone I did not give when I personally made the repair appt dated 4/3/24.
This employee was unprofessional and blamed the computer for not having my appt. Which shows me this company is unethical and does not care for their customers for any long term only for the sale.
I have told associate, family and freinds what transpired with my 3 visit prior to buying, I stated this was the worse experience I had ever had dealing with. Dealership, non customer focused, and lack of Customer Service..

I purchased a car from carmax a little aprox 3 yrs ago.2017 nissan sentra. After a few days I brought it in because there was a hesitation. I was told it could be the breaks so they did new pads. But problem kept happening. Little did I know there was a CLASS ACTION lawsuit going on with Nissan on my make and model car regarding the transmissions. Nissan paid back consumers the cost of their repairs and also extended the mileage for consumers for future trans problems. Now, I have been told I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION & it will be $ 4500 to fix. Nissan will not help because I am over the mileage . car max said unless its a recall they don't know about car action lawsuits. CarMax offered me a transmission for $ 800 less. But wont put in writing. They said because the amount could change. ya ok.

Neve been in an ugly situation like that, and now way to talk to you guys, because not even you guys, care about the insecure car that you sell to me , chassis Brocken, break master cylinder not work for the front tires. Thanks a lot, if you don't have a solution for me, no way to keep doing this, you fix your problem with your company and what about me? I have to return the car to the bank in a couple days and don't know what to do. I need a transiportation to work. Thanks a lot for nothing just car problems.
