They tried to lie and say that my car doesnt have an air suspension. Therefore when they put it in the lift to fix the air compressor and dryer they popped the suspension and now it leaks. Carmax is the worst company I have ever spent my money on, and they are in no way helpful. I purchased a vehicle from them the summer before beginning my Freshman year of college. Yes I bought the extended warranty from a used car dealer. My mistake. But I had hoped Carmax would be a better choice for this. We have had our 2011 Smart in their shop twice before. I am so frustrated with car max. I bought a warranty for my BMW. The air conditioning has gone out 3 times. They just recharge it but don't have the knowledge to fix the problem. It takes a week to get an appointment for service. My air went out again and the temps are 103. I bought a car recently from Carmax and just drove off without any negations etc. After few months I bought it back for maintenance and they told me the power steering fluid needs to be replaced and also the hose. They kept my car for 2 weeks and replaced a TPMS sensor. Though they said me clutch needs to be replaced and would cost $1500. I took my car in to have the lugnuts replaced because the mechanic didn't hand tighten them first so they were stripped and the lady I talked to basically was trying to put the blame on me, just not the customer service I expect to recieve especially just buying the car recently

I had a sensor problem took my car in at 9am, they told me i would get a rental car, well not true, missed a whole day of work, they had my car 28 hours, i got a weak apology, they should have offered money off for this, Not happy at all. Will not take my car back to them for repairs. I have bought 2 cars at car max, probably wont buy another car from Car Max,

Midlo VA Carmax. Fixed my car just like they said they would. They even paid for the tow. Fast service. I remain their customer. I've no relationship with this company other than I've sold them 4 cars and bought 3. I've always chosen low mileage vehicles and paid for the service plan and have been very satisfied.
