I purchased a 2005 Jeep Liberty in 2006. I also purchased the warranty that they offer for $1800.00.

I have had the air conditioning unit fix there at least 5 times always the same problem and when I pick it up it is working but sounds the same as when it was broke. The said I was nuts. The front end of my truck was falling apart (I do not drive off road) just regular street driving. The said there was nothing wrong with it.

I cancelled a trip I was suppose to take and took the truck to dealer who said this front end is going to fall apart any minute. Back to carmax who then said they would repair it and claim they did. a month later I'm back and this went on and on until I had the dealer repair it. and even after that because the warranty company would not APPROVE the total repair.

I still have a front end that is falling apart and an air conditioner/heater that works when it wants to. Carmax repair is ***. Their service is not top notch and is done as cheaply as possible. The last time I went in at the end of my warranty with the complaint of the front end and a/c unit they sent out a smartallic punk who was rude and basically told me I was crazy and goodbye..

I filed a complaint with department head who was an *** too.

So I have a truck now out of warranty and its falling apart and I paid carmax my deductible over and over as well as car rental fees over and over.... BEWARE....

Monetary Loss: $25000.
