CarMax- Bad customer service!
So I went in to buy a car and it took forever!!! The sales consultant did not know what she was doing and she was on her phone texting the whole time while she was helping me!
According to a "computer glitch" I owed $350 as a downpayment...which I thought was low but whatever. They agreed to purchase my car which was worth $2500 so they say, and pay the title off that I had on the car which was $3000. I was negative $500 which I had to pay by 2 weeks or the appraisal on my trade in would depreciate. I qualified for a 2010 Corolla from another lot and I purchased it without seeing it (will never do that again).
The car seemed to be in good condition but it was very standard- I'm talking no cruise control, no tinted windows and no automatic seats...Anyway I was still happy with it. I have the car for about 7 days and they call me saying I need to bring in the $500 I owe that day! I called the title loan place and negotiated my balance from $3000 to $2500. So I'm thinking, I don't owe that $500 anymore.
I go go carmax and they take my car!!! They called the financing a "computer glitch" and my down payment should have been $850. They took my contract and all the papers and shreded them!That's total bull! That's not my fault I was quoted a bogus fee.
Afterwards I'm waiting for my $350 in the mail (my down payment) and it hasn't come yet so I call them and it hasn't even been processed!!! The sales consultant didn't tell the billing department I wanted my freakin money back! So now I have to wait another 7-10 business days for that money!
Anyway, I'm going to give them one more chance. I'm planning on purchasing another car next week and I'm taking $1000 with me.

:sigh this is a pawn sho for cars this is criminal people expect to be ripped in a pawn shop and you have the option to buy your grandmothers wedding ring back if the operation on your kid doesnt cost as much as you hpo said it would
