My grandson purchased a car from Carmax last April and I agreed to cosigned for his loan. Unfortunately the sales person, Lance Rupprecht, who I scheduled an appointment with turned us over to a neophyte sales person as he was also involved with another customer.
That person clearly was inept and I had to assist him with filling out the paperwork which took considerable time. Unfortunately he did it incorrectly and I mistakenly when signing a myriad of paperwork, it included one that caused me to be co-owner.
When I contacted Carmax Finance they told me the only solution was for us to take out a loan at another institution.
