Ask for parts to be placed in trunk of car none. Bought two after market rims $355.00 each CARMAX can't seem to find the old rims or tire that was mounted.No parts in trunk. Rim look like they fixed it....disputing all charges not Happy at all.

We picked up our truck tonight.....AND SUPRISE SUPRISE.......the noise is still there and the steering wheel still rattles....said they replaced the steering shaft and throttle body....well whinning under hood is still there and now the truck is idling really high...when my husband hits the breaks the truck lunges foward.....DONT BUY FROM CARMAX....

CarMax, can you please get it right at least once?

Went to buy my dream car,645 BMW. I've only had it 6 months, only been driven 3. It's been a nightmare. The service dept. is a joke.From serveral visit, they still can't get it right. I had to take it to another place to find out what was wrong. Problem after problem.I thought CarMax finally got it right, but I'm back, sitting in the service dept again. My appt. was @ 8:30am,I had one Tech. look at the car couldn't fix it, they refer the car to another tech because the first tech didn't have some tool. I received a call from the service dept. around 2:00pm. It's 5:30pm the second Tech is trying to look at it now. I asked for the Manager. Manager said he would call me sometime tonight with results. I received a call that I had a slow link and they would call tomorrow with the rest of the results. Wow 2 Tech, slow link. It's took the service dept 12 hours. More details tomorrow. I'm still waiting for the manager call. It's 8:00pm.

The only way you can tell if they ripped you off is to ask to see the purchase documents from when they bought it. If they bought at auction, it was disclosed to them.

If they took it in on trade, maybe not. But dealers must do a smog and safety check on used vehicles. They could not have missed the frame damage if they did a proper safety check.

They should have offered to trade you out of the car and given you a credit of at least $5,000.00 additional so you could trade up at no cost. If you still do not have satisfaction, look up a good consumer car lawyer.
